THE BURDEN AGAINST DUMAH......HE CALLS TO ME OUT OF
SEIR,
WATCHMAN WHAT OF THE NIGHT? WATCHMAN WHAT OF THE NIGHT?
THE WATCHMAN SAID, THE MORNING COMES AND ALSO THE NIGHT IF YOU
WILL ENQUIRE, ENQUIRE, RETURN COME BACK!.....ISAIAH 21:11, 12. |

HOW TO (START TO) RECOGNISE A GOOD CHURCH
(first we must be humble - quick to listen for the Christ's Word) |
|
A man calls out to a prophet/watchman from
Seir....."what's happening, what's the news, weather, what do
you see?.......click.
It can be a gloomy and very gloomy time when in darkness waiting
for the day to spring forth and the light to shine upon the
situation at hand and it is the work of a minister to do just
that, shine 'Messiahs' Light upon all uncertainty and bring joy
to the enquirer and scatter the villains, snakes....Ephesians
5:11-13.
I recommend for all readers to read the above scripture and
study it in your own time, I am sure you will come to see that
few find the narrow gate for few are looking for the narrow
gate. One man (from Seir) wants the truth although Gods people
don't. |
How to recognise a 'good church' is a subject that has
interested me for some time now, hence I decided to put pen to paper and
attempt to enlighten and alert all who are seeking a new spiritual
home/church in 2009. This letter being only a basic draft of course, I would
need to write a book to cover all bases.
If people are not prepared to leave the carnal and take on the spiritual
life in accord with scripture of the Christ, Father can by no means lead us
to such a place as 'a good church'...ref/John 7:17......click.
It is imperative, peremptory that the pastor first has the doctrine of the
Christ not medieval-orthodox religious teachings. Given that what God/Jesus
calls 'good' is his doctrine.....ref/Romans 11:22. A pastor without 'known
sin' is helpful too.
Without Mashiah's Doctrine we only have weeds, thistles, burrs and dead
grass to eat, this leads all to stray, compromise and live lukewarm lives as
professing christians. Hot is the only temperature for the bride of Christ
all other attitudes are not good but bad, damnable...Ref: Revelation
3:16...click.
When the pastor has the bonafide doctrine of the Christ in his heart there
is honesty, truth and humility found in every concept of that church's
message and occupation.
A good church doesn't end at the pulpit but starts there with the
congregation playing a major role in the making of that fellowship. Tantrums
(anger without cause) are definitely a no-no. Sneaking around a fellowship
as a busy-body with no intentions of zealously supporting the groups
vision/call is dishonest and a stain on any fellowship....(sneaks never
prosper, not spiritually anyway - depart from sin) ...click.
Undercover-angels/agents, who hover around groups/fellowships and attach
themselves to the group for a season, sheep rustlers etc....don't make for a
'good church' either. If a church is good or aiming to be good they will
place their true beliefs up front so that those who honestly believe the
scriptures will be able to make an honest decision. Whether or not to join
themselves to such a group. There will be no hidden beliefs growing in the
paddock.
If the pastor is doing his job each Sunday and every other day the message
he preaches and teaches will deal with and sift out and even drive out the
sneaks, dishonest, deceitful, proud, wolves, wolverines who are not willing
to repent and come clean, this is the power and beauty of 'the truth-the
Christ's Doctrine'...click.
Then we can be sure that only a 'Remnant' will be left just as the head of
the Church, Jesus the Christ said. Watchman, what of the night?....Amen.
Pastor
