BUT JESUS SAID TO HIM .. FOLLOW ME AND LET THE DEAD BURY THEIR OWN DEAD.. MATTHEW 8:22

Are there conditions on salvation? ... what did Jesus say?

He said to a young man who wanted to go to his dad's funeral never mind the funeral .. follow Me! The condition here is put Me before your own flesh and blood if you want salvation.

Why do people follow Jesus .. they want to be saved, why do people follow people?.. they obviously think its the way to go. Listen to this very carefully as I quote another saying of Jesus...

I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC AND THE GOD OF JACOB?.. GOD IS NOT THE GOD OF THE DEAD BUT OF THE LIVING ... MATTHEW 22:32.

Although my own brother died and was buried, I know he lives in another sphere till our God resurrects him unto immortally of his body. Hence I want to say that concerning men, women and Jesus .. we must do as He says if we expect to live forever. Why do you call me Lord but you don't do what I say?

Can we take our ease, sit back in our chair and wait for Messiah, living as we so desire or would this fall under the category of lukewarmness?.. lets see what Master Jesus says ...

WATCH THEREFORE AND PRAY ALWAYS THAT YOU MAY .. BE COUNTED WORTHY .. TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT WILL COME TO PASS AND TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN ........... LUKE 21:36.

What is this?.. Jesus telling the people, teaching them that we need to be found worthy of Him when He comes .. for many will cry .. Lord!.. Lord!

How many people will escape the great tribulation and be raptured into the air or meet in the air?.. how many will be found worthy by Jesus/God not by man but God and taken out of the earth?.. no one knows but let us prepare today for the great master, saviour, Jesus might call for your soul tonight.

There is no room in my life, marriage, home, ministry or church for the easy going OSAS doctrine of men .. its too blurry, its too easy and it denies the scripture that says ....

THEREFORE MY BELOVED .. AS YOU HAVE ALWAYS OBEYED, NOT AS IN MY PRESENCE ONLY BUT NOW MUCH MORE IN MY ABSENCE .. WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING .......... PHILIPPIANS 2:12.

Fear and trembling can never be mistaken for arrogance and pride. It is this scripture that clarifies that salvation is an ongoing task which requires our uttermost attention, it is not something to be taken for granted. Amen.
