It is one of the facets of this ministry to enlighten as many as possible along the way of life to the fact that faith has nothing whatsoever to do with letters of request for monies, the selling of the word of God or condemning people who do not give to churches, ministries of fellowships.
  • Faith .. is trusting God almighty!

Faith is trusting God that He heard your prayers, has considered your prayers and is going to answer your prayers in the best possible way, in fact He will provide the ultimate in answers and results ... amen.

One of the more popular and famous of the .. so called faith teachers, Mrs Joyce Meyers said recently and most probably many times before I heard with my own ears that .. we need pure faith!

How could a person teach anyone else about pure faith when the faith that they possess can barely be recognised as even faith. Can we say that we trust God for our well being, provisions, progress and prosperity when all along we send out millions of letters yearly asking people for money and advertising books, audio, video and even decorations for the house with Gods name on it? All with a price tag and a bar code.

  • What brand of faith is this?
  • It is called faith in man .. faith in men and women. It is a faith that does not really believe that God knows all things and that God is able to touch human beings to give to you or your ministry or church or mission.

This kind of faith is the type of faith that unbelievers have, pagans have and heathens have. Stop and think just for one short minute, how the world outside operates. Let me tell you .... if you produce the right product, at the right price at the right time, telling the people what they want to hear and put a huge price on it, whilst making sure that the presentation of it is elaborate as well as being a little fancy, there is no reason under the sun why carnal minded people would not buy.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that letters asking for monies doesn't work nor do I say that audio, video and book sales don't work .. of course it works. I am saying that you don't need faith in God to operate in this way.

Some of the biggest shams and rip offs in the world today are tied up with .. the marketing game .. the meaning of marketing is this ...

  • MARKETING .. THE BUSINESS OF SELLING GOODS,INCLUDING ADVERTISING, PACKAGING ETC.. COLLINS COMPACT DICT/AUST.

Isn't this the very thing that prosperity ministers do in the world today and they have the nerve to call it faith. Worse than that people buy into it.

THE CHURCHES TODAY ARE FILLED WITH MARKETING EXPERTS WHO HAVE NO REAL FAITH IN THE DONKEY RIDING GOD .. JESUS THE CHRIST!

If the prosperity ministers, word of faith teachers .. took the prices off their video, audio, books and interior decorations, manufactured them and sent them to those who desired them and they became prosperous I would be totally convinced that God almighty was moving on behalf of these men and women.

Let us take the blinders off and dare to walk by faith in the living God, Jesus of Nazareth and we shall know life like never before.. 1 Samuel 13:16-23, 14:1-23.

The following article is about a man who had .. pure faith .. read it and then .ask yourself this question, do the rich and prosperous faith movement clergy operate in this way today throughout the wicked world?

A stranger, a foreigner in England, I knew seven languages and might have used them perhaps as a means of remunerative employment, but I had consecrated myself to labour to the Lord. I put my reliance in the God who has promised, and He has acted according to His Word.

I've lacked nothing - nothing. I have had my trials, my trials, and my empty purse, but my receipts have aggregated tens of thousands of dollars, while the work has gone on these fifty-one years.

Then with regard to my pastoral work for the past fifty-one years, I have had great difficulties, great trials and perplexities. There will always be difficulties and trials. But God has sustained me under them and delivered me out of them and the work has gone on.

Now, this is not, as some have said, because I am a man of great mental power or endowed with energy and perseverance - these are not the reasons.

It is because I have confided in God; because I have sought God and He has cared for the institution which, under His direction, has one hundred and seventeen schools with masters and mistresses, and other departments of which I have told you before.

The difficulties in such an undertaking have been gigantic, but I read that they that put their trust in the Lord shall not be ashamed.

Nearly twenty years ago a beloved brother from America came to see me, and he expected to find me an old man helpless and decrepit, bowed down with burdens, but when he saw me I did not look old.

"How is this?" he said, "that you keep so young under such a load as you are carrying?:"

'My dear brother," I said, 'I have always rolled the burden on the Lord. I do not carry one-hundredth part of it. The burden comes to me, and I roll it back to Him." I do not carry the burden.

The Lord never failed to supply every need for the hundreds of orphans in the George Mueller homes, All in response to simple faith and prayer.

 

And now, in my seventy-sixth year, I have physical straight and mental vigor as great as when I was a young man in the University, studying and preparing Latin orations. I am just as vigorous as at that time.

How is this? Because in the last half-century of labour I've been able, with the simplicity of a little child to rely upon God.

I have had my trials, but I have laid hold on God, and so it has come that I have been sustained. It is not only permission, but positive command that He gives us to cast the burden upon Him.

Oh, let us do it, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. "Cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee." Day by day I do it.

This morning again sixty matters in connection with the church, of which I pastor, I brought before the Lord, and thus it is day by day, and year by year; ten years, twenty years, thirty years, forty years-

And now, my beloved brothers and sisters, come with your burdens, the burdens of your business, your profession, your trials and difficulties, and you will find help. Hudson Taylor once said: "What we greatly need to fear is not insufficient funds, but too much unconsecrated funds."
