Dear Reader,

NO greater love can we be given than the love of ... WARNING!

BUT KNOW THIS ... THAT IN THE LAST DAYS PERILOUS TIMES WILL COME.. 2 Timothy 3:1.

The word perilous is mentioned here to describe spiritual climate and attitude of the people of the world and churches.

Perilous ... meaning (irreconcilable) ... or incapable of being brought into agreement. They argue with Jesus daily.

We all must (know) that this is unable to be avoided because God/Jesus said so.

Our text chosen from the second letter the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy says perilous times ... will come. It is a promise. Reconciliation is being spoken about all over the world and many are getting on the bandwagon but there is the great reconciliation left undone.

The reconciling of men and women to God Almighty. Many are on the road called irreconcilable this very day ... are you one of them? ... 1 Timothy 4:2.

This has come about through pride, selfishness, blaspheming God, hunger for pleasures rather than Jesus, loving money, houses and self - more than Jesus the Christ... 2 Timothy 3:2-5.

All over the world people are wanting peace, crying peace, but still no peace all because they refuse to give up their life to Jesus... Matt 10:35-42.

• DO NOT THINK THAT I CAME TO BRING PEACE ON THE EARTH, I DID NOT COME TO BRING PEACE BUT A SWORD ... Matthew 10:34.

• AND A MANS FOES WILL BE THOSE OF HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD ... Matthew 10:36.

But know this, things shall grow worse in all areas as the days go by, the words of Jesus will be proven true ... and the only place where peace will be found is in the Christ. The lukewarm and compromising church goer along with the unbelieving will be overtaken by the deceitfulness of sin and shall stagger in darkness all the way to hell.

Heed the love of the warning, repent and be forgiven ...  2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.
