THE HOMELESS KING

Everyone has a hero .. my hero is Jesus, the homeless king. He was born amongst animals, He was treated like an animal and eventually was murdered, staked out on a cross. This all happened to Him for me and all who would take Him as their hero.

David once said .. WHO AM I, O, LORD GOD?.. AND WHAT IS MY HOUSE THAT YOU HAVE BROUGHT ME THIS FAR? ... 2 SAMUEL 7:18A.

Jesus tells us that foxes and birds had a place of shelter but not He the homeless king. Do you think that Jesus had enough brains to start His own building company? I do. I believe that my hero would have been the best carpenter in town in His day .. if .. He wanted to have it that way.

Father in heaven ultimately designed all things to His plan, not the whim of mankind. Think about it or try to anyway, the countless ways that God Almighty may have retrieved the souls of the sin cursed earth yet He gave us a book that told of the .. homeless king, awesome isn't it?

I ache deep within when I think about million dollar church leaders who reverse out of their three carport, $500,000 homes each day, driving their $50,000 car through the main street of town where the homeless are crawling out from behind a weaver bin or a cardboard box. What kind of consciences do these creatures have. I must call them creatures because truth wouldn't allow me to call them brother, sister, saint or Christian.. 1 John 3:16-18.

Listen to me very carefully, I am talking about those who say they are followers of the .. homeless king. These are they that drive to their million dollar synagogues each Sunday or Saturday, wearing the most expensive apparel money can buy. They mount their prestige platforms to reveal to the congregation that great mystery .. God is love!. God is love and God is love.

My calculations of these church leaders homes, cars and clothing are most probably far too low, they probably wouldn't live in a $500,000 home, the world might think they are losers .. they say… Luke 16:14,15.

The world actually thought that my hero/Jesus was a loser and most still do to their own detriment. The truth is said this way .. the last shall be first and the first shall be last in the day of the lord.. O, happy day! O, happy day!.. when Jesus come.

AS SORROWFUL YET ALWAYS REJOICING, AS POOR YET MAKING MANY RICH .. AS HAVING NOTHING YET POSSESSING ALL THINGS ....... 2 CORINTHIANS 6:10.
