JESUS SAID TO HIM .. YOU SHALL ... LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND..

THIS IS THE FIRST AND GREAT COMMANDMENT AND THE SECOND IS LIKE IT .. YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF.        MATTHEW 22:37-39.

JESUS IS TALKING TO YOU !

You may have already recognised this scripture .. yes, its the new covenant, the new agreement Father made with all men and women who come to Him. All that the law requires and all that the prophets of the old testament said is based on this as well as the whole of the new testament writings. I, personally have always seen the old testament as the diagnosis of men's problems and the new testament as the remedy. The four square gospel is Christs message to the world and the letters of the apostles as the fine print of that message.

All scripture is designed to instruct, direct, teach, advise and help the ignorant earth. We are all ignorant of the truth, some more than others .. Jesus came to give us the truth... John 3:10.

The scripture we are looking at talks directly to you and me. There is no mention of God doing anything in this scripture. This is a command!

Church structures have obviously lost the plot in the midst of the concrete, digital data and look alike Jesus' of this new age, that has crept upon us. We hear it by song, pulpit, radio, t.v. and worldwide, Jesus loves you. I don't think that this saying is too hard for the most inoperative mind to grasp. But what Jesus said here is ..you!.. you shall love the lord. Jesus loved Lucifer too, one time ... Ezekiel 28:12-15.

One young man said to me on the street some time back.. Jesus loves me, as he dragged on his cigarette, he was also drunk and he was using coarse language as well. I had and still have no doubt that Jesus loves that young man but will this save his soul. Jesus said you .. love God with all you have and are. The emphasis is on .. you and me!. Not God above. This is the exact spot or place where people outside the church and people inside the church have gone wrong,they have forgotten that the covenant points to them. God gave His Son and what do we give, most scriptures say .. our lives/a living sacrifice.. James 4:1-5.

The powers of the air have used many a people from all walks of life to tell the story of the .."covenant that God made with no requirements attached." You and your inclusively are used seven times in this command, I some how get the feeling that God has told us to do something. Yet, many still believe .. God loves me, that's enough to get me to glory. My dear friend, to obey, follow, serve, worship, praise and live for Jesus is the fulfilment of .. loving God. Never has a marriage worked where only one of the partners applied themselves and never will it work out with the groom/Jesus, if .. you, me, we don't apply our selves to the covenant.

There's going to be a meeting in the air, will you be there?.. amen.
