AFFLICTION WITH THE PEOPLE OF GOD, THAN TO ENJOY THE PASSING PLEASURES OF SIN

PORTIONS,
MORSELS, TASTY MORSELS...THE SUPREME DELICACY!
It would have to be the supreme delicacy of the world, it offers all its partakers the
ultimate in delight, taste, sensation, highs, its promises are endless yet very much
limited, its illusive guarantees have driven people to suicide, rape, murder, mass murder,
war, slave trades, bank robberies, brutal bashings for the sake of another fix and yet men
and women still can't see that sin destroys all in its path and all who dare to entertain
its deadly company.
The church society in Australia are in fact becoming more silent and friendly
toward this evil and this will be to their own detriment and I hope not to their eternal
destruction in hell fire.
The scripture that we are looking at today tells us that sin has it's pleasures but they
don't last, they pass on and once again we are led to the next degree of sin or the next
step that satan the devil will have us take on our subtle but sure travel to the lake of
fire and brimstone.
There is a highway to hell and a highway of holiness and it's given to us by God to choose
the path we will to travel.
The wise man and woman looks not to the things of this world or the heights they may climb
to in society, the comforts they may be the proud owners of or the pleasure they may
experience …no!… this is for the foolish, the vain and the conceited… what
did Moses do? …the bible says that Moses refused!
Moses refused it, as though it were rubbish and of no use to him, that which would but
only drag him down and lead him away from his love… God Almighty/Yah!
O, how glorious the example put before us of Godliness, we may safely say that this man
Moses was a man of God … a God Lover!
One who loved God with all his being… halleluyah!
WHEN DESIRE HAS CONCEIVED, IT GIVES BIRTH TO SIN AND SIN WHEN IT IS FULLY GROWN,
BRINGS FORTH DEATH… JAMES 1:15.
What killed the relationship between Adam/Eve and God? …Sin!
What will kill a Christian's relationship with God? …Sin!
Sin has deceived so many people in the world today, they call him naughty.
Naughty is the new age word for sin. The devil has had a new age make over and so has his
products. Satan has become a quiet achiever in the world today. Peace, peace, peace, equal
rights, care bear tactics about the earth, racial rallies by the score. Satan's new beaut
campaign strategies do work. And when he sends forth his man …the son of
perdition… all shall dance to the sound of his pipe… 2 Thessalonians
2:1-12.
Finally, let me say this… sin is the only thing that can keep a human being
from entering the kingdom of God… it's such a little word with such a horrifying
wage.
