Anglicans (but not only Anglicans) give
place to human reason as a God given faculty that enables
critical theological reflection, while 'keeping scripture
paramount' in this revelatory process.
There are many examples where the world has led the church
into appropriate, just and biblical ways of being the church in
mission the 'Anglican Church of Australia' is about to
consecrate its first female bishop.
Women have been in comparable leadership roles in society for
decades. Recent 'professional standards legislation'
mirroring what has already been put in place in other
institutions is another example...of the Church being led by the
World to a fuller expression of 'Jesus' teachings.

A more true title for Mr. Saines's view and the anglican
view in general would have to be......"Doing A Double Mind".......1
Kings 18:21.
Don says that the anglican religion 'keep scripture paramount' in
their processes and that there are also others who do likewise.
How can bible scripture be paramount with a church when it is blatantly
evident that they prefer to go the way of the world and sin.
Ref/"the world has led the church in biblical ways"...this is
outrageous and may I also say courageous especially when we are reminded
that there is a 'Judgement Day' ...John 16:13-15.
The Anglican Church sift their examples from such as 'Professional
Standards Legislation Polls' and recommends the World as apt to lead the
Church/Christians to a 'Fuller Expression of Jesus Teachings'.
I had to read this writing of Mr. Saines as being insane and of no
association with the spirit of God/Jesus the Christ.....
The anglicans have got one thing right and perfectly right, with Mr. Saines
write-up to confirm it, and that is their name as a religion.......'The
Anglican Church of Australia'.
It is a church, it is anglican but it is not 'of' the Christ but 'of'
Australia....selah. The poorest of theologians can see this at but a glance
and how much more can be seen through the eyes of a spirit filled and spirit
led 'man' of God....Amen....click.
