Paul speaks to Timothy regarding all those who dare to
follow in the path of his doctrine, which was the doctrine
of the Christ Jesus Messiah.....click
For many years I have heard on and off in my travels the
quote......"the persecuted church" and I thought upon this
for some time and wondered what it really meant in regards
to "the church" and the Christ's disciples.
And here is what I found. Scripture has never lied or led
anyone astray or off on some wild turkey chase. Scripture
was and is designed to heal, deliver, rebuke, calm, correct, advise,
make wise, establish one in Christ and ultimately save. Save
from known sin, self, satan, the world, the wrath to come
and hell fire eternal.....click.
Yes, all who are (fixed on) aiming at a Godly life through the Christ
will be without doubt persecuted. No man or woman can be
Godly or Live Godly 'without' The Christ as the premise and
him alone. Godly without Christ (not that anyone can be) is
impossible, the best would be but an appearance of Godliness
or at least what men and women imagine in their degenerated
hearts and minds to be Godly......click.....click.
Persecution will come to all Godly peoples or all Christ
followers. Paul tells Timothy that he will suffer and that
evil men and women, imposters will grow, multiply and become
more evil each passing day. Paul never spoke of certain
disciples in a specific region, state or nation but the
world at large, he spoke to Timothy plus 'The Church', all
the church everywhere.
Once again as usual, scripture comes to the rescue here,
Paul makes at least four references to the Christ's Doctrine
in 2 Timothy 3:10-17, this tells us all how important
doctrine is to us bearing our suffering, persecutions and
our lot.
This tells us that scripture/doctrine is paramount in the
completing, equipping, and saving of the soul of the saint
and saints of the 'One Holy Church' the body of the Christ
the Bride who has no spot, wrinkle nor blemish of sin in her
life at the coming of the Christ upon the
clouds........click.
So are the persecuted church those off in a far land, are
they in a certain nation, are they a particular race,
nationality or colour?.....no dear reader the truth is, the
persecuted church is "The Church" and if you are not being
hated and persecuted in one way or another I seriously
believe you are not in (The Church) the Body of The Christ. All who
desire to live as messiah/God (in his light), will surely be persecuted.
Walk in the light as he/Yeshua is in the light and you will
find out real quick that the letter you just read is
true and faithful....amen......click.
