WHAT DID YOU GO OUT INTO THE
WILDERNESS TO SEE?....A REED SHAKEN BY THE

COTTON CANDY - FAIRY FLOSS...

Jesus spoke of the baptiser John as no
reedy-seedy-sermon-man, no wealthy well dresses hirling or a king, king's kid or millionaire church
leader who would be in the running for a prime spread in
"Time Magazine". Neither would this John
character find favour with the judges of best selling
books of the year....click.
But how could he with a message of ...."who told you
snakes I was down here baptising people (leading
people out of the world) to a totally new life
that is not about materialism, self-confidence or
success by world standards". John's message was about
erasing of self, the flesh and exchanging self-esteem
for holy ghost assurance not to be regretted...true
biblical faith in the Christ.
And hasn't every forerunner come with the same message
from the days of Genesis to the revelation of today's
apostates and their high-minded, high-life, mixed-bag
seminaries and synagogues?....click.
So what do you go to church on Sunday or Saturday to see
may I ask? Could it be a shaky blade of grass, a man
(or woman these days) standing in a pulpit in fine
apparel, wearing diamonds and gold, rhinestones and glitter,
alluring the people to indulge and embrace vain
leadership....click.
A reed shaken by the wind is the church leader,
minister/ette that swaps and changes with the religious
vogue of the month while very cleverly (foolishly)
manages to stay on par (in word only) with
bible scripture. These are only ever spotted, clearly
seen, identified by true watchmen-messengers of the
Christ.
A reed shaken by the wind, weak kneed ministers,
are the great providers of 'cotton candy food in the
spirit'. Fairy floss as we know it, which is there one
minute and gone the next, just simply melted away. But
boy, it was fun while it lasted but it didn't last long
neither did it do any real sustaining good for the inner
man.....click.
The good showing in the flesh, looked great and even
felt great but still not able to put anyone in the right
place (standing) with the almighty one the Christ
who was the same one who asked the initial question and
still asked it today in 2006.....'why do you go to
that entertainment centre' each Sunday, Saturday'?
What are we expecting to hear and see when we go forward
to a place where a true messenger, prophet, watchman,
minister is speaking?....maybe some middle of the
road-highway, christendom, one-world church translation
of established canon with a dash of humanism, garnished
liberally with a cherry (of deceit) called
success or would that be more specifically identified as
affluence with ungodly, unrepentant communities?
Whatever way we attempt to approach the well
meaning-watered down-gospel of the last days, none of
this cotton candy/ fairy floss talk could ever be even a
shadow of the original message of the men of the new
testament. I am without doubt that if there be a man
with the backbone and the God Given Call to proclaim 'the'
gospel of 'the' kingdom of the Christ instead of 'a'
another gospel in this day and age it will be said of
him.....'he has a demon!'......Matthew 11:18....Amen. |
